About
Review that students look forward to.
Bellwork turns the lesson you already taught into a review game your whole class can play, so review day takes less prep and gets more of the room involved.
Why it exists
Review is where students find out what stuck, and where teachers find out what to reteach. Doing it well takes time: writing questions, building slides, keeping score. And in a lot of review sessions, the same few students answer while everyone else waits for the bell.
Bellwork takes the prep off your plate and turns review into a game: teams, comebacks, and whole-class challenges that give every student a reason to pay attention.
What it does
Upload a lesson plan, worksheet, or slides. Bellwork reads it and writes review questions, answers, and clues from what the lesson teaches, grouped into categories. You check and edit every one. Then pick one of ten games, name your teams, and play on the projector or smartboard. The same questions work in every game, so one lesson gives you ten ways to review it.
What we promise
- You stay in charge. Nothing reaches students until you've checked it, and anything that goes beyond your lesson is flagged for you.
- Students come first. Students never need accounts, devices, or email addresses. There are no ads and no trackers.
- Built for the front of the room. Big, readable text from the back row, and undo for every action. Refresh or come back later; the game picks up where you left off.
- Honest about what it is. No made-up reviews or numbers. When something is a simulation or a draft, Bellwork says so.
